Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Dental Assisting program beginning with the Fall 2024 semester. The Dental Assisting Instructor creates a positive learning environment to assist the student in participating in planned experiences directed toward performing dental-related activities with precision, safety and efficiency consistent with concepts and practices of all health care entities and disciplines.
The successful candidate must have a current Kansas Dental Hygiene License and be CPR Certified. A minimum of two years of paid experience in the dental field is also required. Teaching or training experience is preferred. To teach the dental core curriculum, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or be willing to take courses to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.
This full-time, 9-month position offers a salary range of $39,500-$47,000 commensurate with experience and education level, KPERS retirement plan, and paid health insurance for the employee. Annual salary is paid out over 12 months.
