Description
This course is a continuation of HYG 202. This course offers continued development of proficiency in clinical techniques and current procedural practices of the dental hygienist with emphasis on self-evaluation. Topics will include office management, current dental hygiene issues and preparation for board exams. This course provides students the ability to increase proficiency in time management within the clinic. The purpose of this course is to gain speed and maintain quality delivery of dental hygiene treatment. Prerequisites: HYG 202 Clinical Hygiene I, HYG 204 Periodontics, HYG 209 Oral Pathology, HYG 210 Dental Analgesia and Therapeutics
