Flint Hills Technical College is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals for full-time instructor and part-time adjunct instructor positions within our Allied Health department. These positions provide instruction and student assessment in both face-to-face, online, and hybrid settings.

Certified Nurse Aide Instructor – Full-time or Adjunct:
Qualifications:
- Hold a current Kansas Practical Nurse License (LPN) or Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license or current LPN/RN unencumbered license. License must not have any pending or current disciplinary actions.
- Minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) including one of the following:
- At least 1,750 hours of that experience must be as a licensed nurse in a setting which demonstrates long-term nursing care, such as an adult care home, long term care unit of a hospital or a state institution for those with mental and physical disabilities or
- complete at least 7 hours professional continuing education in “Person Centered Care for the Adult Care Home” (This must be completed on annual basis)
- Meet at least ONE of the following requirements:
- Experience supervising nurse aides or
- Experience teaching adults or
- Complete a course in teaching adults or
- Complete a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education.
Medication Aide Adjunct Instructor:
Qualifications:
- Hold a current Kansas Registered Nurse license for a minimum of two years
- Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse (not LPN).
Home Health Aide Adjunct Online Instructor:
Qualifications:
- Hold a current Kansas Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) including at least 1,750 hours as a licensed nurse in home health care services.
