Description

Students will know the precautions for and the importance of safety in arc welding. The student will have an advanced knowledge of and skill in the gas metal arc welding process, equipment and set up procedures for 6? pipe. The student will have a comprehensive knowledge of the key variables that affect the quality of welds and produce single v-groove welds on 2? and 6? schedule 80 mild steel pipes. Prerequisite: WLD 114 GMAW Advanced Pulse course.
