Flint Hills Technical College is seeking an additional full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing program to begin in the Spring 2025 semester. The Instructor will create a positive learning environment and guide the student in participating in planned experiences directed toward performing health-related activities with precision, safety, and efficiency consistent with concepts and practices of all-encompassing healthcare entities and disciplines.
Qualifications:
- BSN from an accredited college/university (unless the degree was conferred before July 1, 2001)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Kansas
- Minimum of two years of paid experience in the field of nursing or an educational setting
- A Kansas Teaching Certificate is not required
Salary and Benefits:
This full-time, 9-month position offers a competitive salary range of $40,000-$54,000, commensurate with experience and education level. Additional benefits include a KPERS retirement plan and employer-paid health insurance for the employee. Annual salary is distributed over 12 months.
