Flint Hills Technical College is seeking an individual for an Admissions Specialist position. The duties of the Admissions Specialist will include but are not limited to, responding to all phone calls pertaining to admissions and student services, assisting with processing admission applications, providing campus tours and meeting with prospective students during campus visits, assisting in the development and coordination of special events for FHTC and represent FHTC at off-campus events as needed.

This full-time, 12-month position, offers a competitive salary, ranging between $15.00-$18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.  Benefits include a KPERS retirement plan and paid health insurance for the employee.

A high school diploma is required with a technical certificate or associate degree preferred. In addition, proficiency in personal computing skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Bilingual in English & Spanish is preferred. Additionally, candidates must complete a criminal background check before employment.
