Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Industrial Engineering Technology program for the Fall 2023 semester. The Industrial Engineering Technology Instructor manages and teaches courses within the program including but not limited to basic electrical, electric motors and motor controls, variable frequency drives, industrial mechanical components, mechatronics, hydraulics and pneumatics, and/or PLCs and instrumentation.
The successful candidate must have an Associate of Applied Science degree (or a willingness to obtain an AAS). A Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering from an accredited college/university is preferred. A minimum of two years of recent paid employment within the field or two years of teaching experience within the field or related field of instruction is required.
This full-time, 9-month position will have afternoon/evening hours. This position offers a salary range of $38,000-$47,000, commensurate with experience and education level, KPERS retirement plan, paid health insurance, as well as options for dental, vision, life, accident, cancer, and disability insurance.
