Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician.  This position has scheduled work hours from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Duties will include routine maintenance of facilities, custodial work, grounds maintenance, and helping with room set-ups.

This part-time, 12-month position offers a competitive salary, ranging between $16.00-$18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.  Benefits include a KPERS retirement plan, and health, dental, vision, life, accident, cancer, and disability insurance.

An Associate Degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent is required or have a minimum of three years’ experience as a maintenance technician. The ability to work independently without supervision is necessary.  Qualified persons must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License with a clean driving record and have the ability to lift over 50 pounds. Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
