Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Computerized Machine Tool Engineering program for the Fall 2023 semester. The program offers technical skills training for Machine Tool Engineering careers while giving the instructor opportunity to work in an ever-changing and exciting field.
The ideal candidate will have, or be willing to obtain, a Technical Certificate or Associate Degree, in Machine Tool Engineering Technology, or a related field, plus either 2 years of related work experience or teaching on Computerized Machine Tooling operation is required. The successful candidate will have knowledge of CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, 5 Axis Mill, 3-D Printer, Plastic Injection Mold Machine, Manual Lathe and Manual Mill operation and troubleshooting as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.
This full-time, 9-month position offers a salary range of $38,000-$47,000, commensurate with experience and education level, KPERS retirement plan, paid health insurance, as well as options for dental, vision, life, accident, cancer, and disability insurance.
