Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a Welding Technology Program Adjunct to begin in the Fall 2023 semester. Duties include but are not limited to, teaching welding classes, and preparing lessons and lesson plans. Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve, as well as has a thorough understanding of SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding, and thermal cutting processes. This position's hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The ideal candidate will have a Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Welding Technology or a related field. Two years of related work experience or teaching in the welding field is required. The successful candidate needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.
