Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Dental Assisting program beginning in the Spring 2024 semester. The Dental Assisting Instructor facilitates the personal, social, and intellectual development of students, establishes a positive learning environment, responds to the individual needs of students, and ensures all activities conform to state and local guidelines.
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an ADA-accredited Dental Assisting Program and must be a Dental Assisting National Board “Certified Dental Assistant”. A minimum of two years of recent paid experience in the dental field as a dental assistant or dental office manager is also required and experience teaching or training is preferred. To teach the dental core curriculum, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or be willing to take courses to obtain a Bachelor’s degree.
This full-time, 9-month position offers a salary range of $39,000-$48,000 commensurate with experience and education level, KPERS retirement plan, and paid health insurance for the employee.
