EMS Program Director/Faculty

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program Director/Faculty.  The EMS Program Director/Faculty provides administrative and teaching support to assist full-time and adjunct faculty in their duties associated with educating EMS professionals.  The Program Director/Faculty also provides a positive learning environment to assist the student in participating in planned experiences directed toward performing pre-hospital emergency medical activities with precision, safety, and efficiency consistent with concepts and practices of all-encompassing healthcare entities and disciplines.

 

This full-time, 10-month position offers a salary range of $39,000-$48,000 commensurate with experience and education level, KPERS retirement plan, and paid health insurance for the employee.

 

An Associate of Applied Science Degree in EMS or a related field (or willingness to obtain the degree) is required.  The successful candidate must be currently certified as an AEMT or Paramedic, must be in good standing with KBMES, and have a minimum of two years of paid employment in the field.
