EMS Program Director/Faculty

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program Director/Faculty.  The EMS Program Director/Faculty provides administrative and teaching support to assist full-time and adjunct faculty in their duties associated with educating EMS professionals.  The Program Director/Faculty also provides a positive learning environment to assist the student in participating in planned experiences directed toward performing pre-hospital emergency medical activities with precision, safety, and efficiency consistent with concepts and practices of all-encompassing health care entities and disciplines.

 

An Associate of Applied Science Degree in EMS or related field (or willingness to obtain the degree) is required.  The successful candidate must be currently certified as an AEMT or Paramedic, must be in good standing with KBMES, and have a minimum of two years paid employment in the field.

 

This full-time, 9-month position offers a salary range of $36,000-$48,000, commensurate with experience and education level, KPERS retirement plan, paid health insurance, as well as options for dental, vision, life, accident, cancer, and disability insurance.
