Power Plant Technology Instructor

 

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a highly motivated and innovative instructor for their Power Plant Technology program. This is a full-time faculty position. The program offers technical skills training for power plant careers, while giving the instructor opportunity to work in an ever-changing and exciting field.
Associate’s degree or willingness to obtain an Associate’s degree is required. Previous experience may be applied toward an Associate’s degree. Two years of experience in operations or maintenance at a power plant (either fossil fuel or nuclear), or two years teaching or training is required. Power Plant experience may be military, merchant marine or commercial. Additionally, the individual will have good communication skills with two years teaching or training experience preferred. Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
