Description
This fourth semester course will provide the student with experience providing patient care in a supervised pre-hospital setting. The student will complete a minimum of 576 clock hours in the pre-hospital internship setting with a Kansas licensed, Type 1 ambulance service as assigned by the instructor or clinical coordinator. During this internship the student will progress from providing Basic Life Support treatments to actual patients to being the lead technician directing and providing advanced life support to patients in need of such care.
