Description
This course will included information and techniques relating to the history, development, current status and future of the profession of dental hygiene. Students will be introduced to fundamental dental hygiene services, instrumentation, patient assessment, preventive treatment, transmissible diseases, and principles of infection control. 2 hrs. lecture wk, 6 hrs. lab/wk.
