Description

This course focuses on the effect of disorders of selected systems throughout the lifespan using the nursing process in meeting basic needs. Prevention, rehabilitation and continuity of care are emphasized. The role of the practical nurse is incorporated throughout. PREREQUISITE: NSG 100 KSPN Pharmacology NSG 121 KSPN Foundations of Nursing; NSG 122 KSPN Foundations of Nursing Clinical; NSG 123 Medical Surgical Nursing I; NSG 124 Medical Surgical Nursing I Clinical; HHS 101 Growth & Development.
