Description

This course focuses on pre- and post-natal maternal nursing care, as well as, the care of children from infancy to adolescence. Emphasis is given to abnormal and at risk reproduction and frequently occurring biological, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of the child-bearing and child-rearing family. PREREQUISITE: NSG 100 KSPN Pharmacology NSG 121 KSPN Foundations of Nursing; NSG 122 KSPN Foundations of Nursing Clinical; NSG 123 Medical Surgical Nursing I; NSG 124 Medical Surgical Nursing I Clinical; HHS 101 Growth & Development.
