Description
This course provides training to develop skills necessary to produce quality multi-pass groove welds with backing on 3/8? and 1? plate in the horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. Welding related information is also provided on hard surfacing, repair of cast iron and metal identification. In addition, welding related information is included about procedure and welder qualification on destructive and nondestructive testing methods. Prerequisite: WLD 104
